The Open Book - Woodland Hills will have you feeling snug as a bug in a rug in this cozy space!

At the front of the store, you will find our most popular books, from the controversial "Banned Books" table to our Pride section and a wonderful selection of classics. The nonfiction section in the back can quickly transform into an event space for community-building activities, including our ever-popular book clubs and open mic nights. We even take over the promenade to host our signature trivia nights outside along the mall's main strip.

Return customers are quick to mention that this is their favorite third space, where they feel safe and welcomed because of the store’s strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. An emphasis on nostalgic collectibles and media, all thoughtfully curated, offers a window into the magical stories and franchises that shaped us.

We are located right by the central courtyard of The Village Mall, across the street from Westfield Topanga. This outdoor mall enhances the intimate vibes. You can grab an ice cream, pick up a cup of coffee, hang out with the birds, and relax by the koi pond before popping in to find a fresh book to read. We also love pets. Cats, dogs, and whatever other critters you might have are always welcome.
