We are an independently owned bookstore that carries a selection of books to suit all ages and interests. We pride ourselves in providing you with an authentic bookstore experience, from our handpicked selection of books to our unbeatable customer service. Ask for a book recommendation anytime, or about any of our community events. We sell new, like new, and gently used books for half the original retail or less.
If you have great books that you would like to sell or donate, visit our Canyon Country or Simi Valley locations*. No appointments are required, but highly encouraged.
* Northridge and Woodland Hills are not currently accepting buybacks or donations.
How it works:
Books we DO accept: Non-fiction books or in-demand fiction titles.
Books we DO NOT accept: Magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest, Advance Readers copies, textbooks, dirty or damaged books, or any books that smell like smoke.
Any books we cannot accept MUST be taken back with you and removed from the bookstore.
What if I have a large collection of books?
If you have a lot of books, (think more than 200 and are pretty close to being a bookstore yourself) send us an email requesting a home visit along with a brief description and 3-5 pictures representative of your collection.
